A Python Developer writes beautiful, fast Python to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our products in meaningful ways.

You will be a part of a development team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing, launching, optimizing and maintaining.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed specifications
• Write “clean”, well-designed, scalable code
• Troubleshoot, test, launch, optimize and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Follow industry best practices
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools as required

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of proven software development experience in Python
• Excellent analytical and organization skill
• Understanding of open source libraries like NumPy, Pandas, IPython, Requests.
• Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, AGILE development.
• Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay etc)
• Hands on experience with SQL, MySQL, other database engines
• Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop bold new ideas
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and …
• Programming (XML, or ETL frameworks)
• An analytical mindset and critical thinking
• Demonstrable ability to discover, fix errors and optimize code
• BE/M-tech degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
