Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
Good understanding of QA processes and methodologies
Design test plans, create test cases
Test execution, test result capture and assurance on quality
Knowledge of formal testing and deployment methods from conception through to go-live
(Functional, System, regression, and UAT testing)
Ensure effective communication of project and testing status to Development and QA teams
Experience testing APIs (familiarity with REST API, JSON, XML)
Candidate should have debugging experience, and excellent problem solving skills
Identify defects and own them through the resolution and verification cycle
Excellent knowledge of Agile QA/Dev. processes and software development life cycle
Experience of exploratory testing, adhoc testing.
Experience with Jira and Confluence
Any Test case management tool exp like Test Rail, Zephyr, Silk central
Web application automation Selenium
Rest Assured API automation experience
Good to have:
Hands-on experience in Java/Python
Experience on AWS or any other cloud platform.
Experience with CI/CD integrations
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Technology (preferred), or relevant experience required.
5 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
2 years direct experience in Automation using Selenium or any other tool.
1 years of experience in API testing
Experience with CI/CD, Automating pipelines with scripting (Jenkins, shell / python, etc.)
