Job Description

To implement Quality, Food safety, hygiene, HACCP and related quality system effectively through all operations in factory: FSSC22000, GMP, HACCP etc. to ensure final quality of product and able to be released to achieve consumer and customer satisfaction and support business priority.


What we ask

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Microbiology, Food Science, Chemistry, Food Technology or Related fields.
  • Understanding of factory organization and accountabilities and responsibilities
  • With good understanding of the food manufacturing processes (dairy industry is preferable)
  • Strong knowledge in Quality and Food Safety system
  • Understand in problem solving tools and applicable
  • Experience in Quality Assurance and management level (HACCP, GMP, ISO9001:2000, FSSC22000) preferably in food industry
  • Functional knowledges :
  • Highly developed in Operation knowledge
  • Highly developed in particular product knowledge and manufacturing technology
  • Managerial and Leadership skills
  • Developed ability to convince, coordinate with concerned parties to achieve results
  • Developed ability to escalate issues to the appropriate function.

Vacancy description
Adherence to FoQus Standards, Quality and Food Safety Requirements
  • Establish and implement Quality guidelines, HALAL requirements, standards and procedures
  • Define Quality Improvement Tools, data management and IT system needed for implementation
  • Establish HACCP and QCP requirements together with Food Safety Team
  • Assure Food Defense and Food Fraud mitigation
  • Establish document management system
  • Lead Quality Awareness Programs and Trainings related to FoQus and Food Safety Requirements
  • Manage internal and external audits
  • Lead and facilitate RCA session and ensure CAPA’s are in-place and follow-up.
  • Assures implementation of Crisis Management procedures and review of effectiveness
  • Execution of traceability exercise, mock recall and crisis simulation together with QA CSC
  • Assures compliance to Clearance Checklist of New Product Development together With R&D, Marketing Team.
  • Ensures risk assessment is done on new projects and products in Make side as part of the stage gate requirements under IPM, this should be communicated to QA CSC.


Management of Change (MOC)
  • Establish and maintain a robust management system to manage and assess changes in the processes, equipment, people , raw and packaging materials, including NPDs under IPM program.
  • Conduct risk assessment together with the cross functional team to identify quality and food safety risks and identify controls.
  • Co-implement risk assessment steps of new changes together with Safety (SHE) Team.
  • Ensures approval of changes at appropriate level in the organization prior implementation.
  • Managing and communicating changes across the site ensuring the changes is documented, agreed and approved by related principles in the organization.
  • Reports MOC closure status to QA / QC Manager and Operations Team on a monthly basis.
  • Assure QFS in innovation of New Product Development


Qualifications and Validations
  • Ensures that qualification steps of New Projects and Products were managed, performed and
completed prior handover to area owner or to Production.
  • Drive conduct and completion of Site Validation plans by Food Safety Team, Process tech and
Production team to ensure that critical steps to quality are validated.
  • Drives completion of CIP validation assessment and improvement plans.
  • Standardize qualifications , trial and validation procedures across functions
  • Ensures implementation of trial and validation protocol review and approval prior execution to
ensure that criteria for success were properly identified and aligned


Performance and Compliance
  • Take accountability to meet Q-targets and drive continuous improvement i.e quality write off costs, First Time Right.


Coach and develop competency of subordinate
  • Mentor and motivate team members
  • Build and execute development plans for team members at subordinate levels of the organization
  • Coach and supervise their team
