Job Description
API manual functional testing using Postman.
Good debugging skills.
Should have expertise on Web /mweb/ App Manual testing.
Should have a very good understanding of Testing concepts and terminologies.
Should have sound knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile concepts.
Good to have SQL knowledge.
Automation / Execution or any Scripting experience is added advantage.
Should have good verbal and written communication skills.
Should have excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work both in team and independently, ability to plan and organize the work.
Should be responsible for creating test schedules, detailing test cases, test plans, impact analysis and consolidating and reporting test results.
Help drive the software development process towards quality-centric methodologies, always seeking to avoid defects or find them at the earliest stage possible in SDLC lifecycle.
Grey box testers rather than black-box testers, able to understand software internals, debug problems using log files & debug network calls.
Experience working with agile methodologies preferred.
Required Skills And Experience
Work experience in Web Services (API) testing using REST.
Work experience in a product based company/startup.
Proficient using tools like - (Postman, Rest Client), Selenium, JMeter.
Solid understanding of API testing experience.
Have good understanding of bug lifecycle and defect management process.
Excellent communication as well as documentation skills.
Experience in cross browser testing.
Hands on automation testing experience in Web/Mobile app testing will be plus.
Preferred exposure to postman, Jira & git.
Automation exposure with rest-assured/selenium will be plus.
