Job Description
The Quality Assurance (QA) engineer would work under the direction of a Quality Assurance Lead / Manager and help ensure that project teams adopt quality and compliance standards, policies and procedures, and supports project assurance activities.
The Quality Assurance (QA) engineer will be involved in assisting all factors that govern testing and QA Activities.
The QA engineer role plays an important part in our company's product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective.
Ultimately, this position will monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
Qualifications:
Should be familiar with testing concepts.
Should have worked on web based applications.
Should have 2-5 years of Manual testing experience.
Good SQL skills (reading test data, adding / updating test data in database)
Good analytical and communication skills.
Experience in Automation testing is an added advantage
