Job Description

Job Title: Senior Accountant.

Work Location: Bangalore & Karnataka.

Industry: Manufacturing.

Experience: 3-6 Years.

Salary (CTC): 25 K / Month.

Job Overview:

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in the financial management of the company, overseeing various accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

·         Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

·         Provide insights into financial performance and trends.

Month-End and Year-End Closing:

·         Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.

·         Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial reporting.

General Ledger Management:

·         Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.

·         Review and post journal entries to ensure accuracy.

 Budgeting and Forecasting:

·         Collaborate in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

·         Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.

 Internal Controls:

·         Develop, implement, and monitor internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.

·         Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Tax Compliance:

·         Assist in the preparation of corporate tax returns.

·         Stay informed about changes in tax regulations and ensure compliance.

Audit Preparation:

·         Coordinate and prepare documentation for internal and external audits.

·         Address audit findings and implement recommended improvements.

Team Leadership:

·         Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

·         Provide guidance on complex accounting issues.

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus.

·         Several years of experience in progressively responsible accounting roles.

·         Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.

·         Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
