The Technical Ceramics business of Morgan Advanced Materials engineers high performance functional and structural ceramic materials, components and sub-assemblies to address customer-specific technical challenges.

Responsibilities:
- Supporting the New product development, New application development & New Business Development for existing and new markets.
- Position is responsible for the New product development, new application development & New Business Development pipeline and works as a bridge between Customers application requirements and.
- Cost reduction in existing products by identifying suitable alternate materials or vendors
- Visiting the customers and understanding their needs.
- Develop the prototype, submit samples for approval to customers/certifying bodies, testing the product and handing over the process sheets to the production team for mass production.
- Conducting field trials at customer end, establish the product, carry out product evaluation, prepare SOP, obtain necessary certifications and then send it for commercial production
- To work with the emerging business team to develop suitable new products.
- Document all phases of research and development.
- Develop concepts, products, and solutions by coordinating with sales, quality & production
- Product Evaluation, field trials & commercialize production
- Research, design and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment

Qualifications:
Graduate/Post Graudates - Material Science / ceramics/ Chemical or Chemistry background
4 to 5 years of experience in R&D field in Refractory/Ceramic or Cement or Glass industry or Chemistry formulation industries
Work in cross-functional project teams, (which may include Research & Development, Marketing, Sales, Packaging, Operations, Purchasing, Regulatory, Finance, Technical and Planning)

- Candidate should be willing to travel to understand the customer requirements
