Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior PHP CodeIgniter and
PostgreSQL Developer with over 5+ years of experience to join our dynamic team.
You will be responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of
data between the server and our users. Your primary focus will be the
development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the
central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests
from the front-end.
Key Responsibilities:
·
Develop, implement, and maintain server-side
application logic using PHP CodeIgniter. Design and maintain database
architecture for large-scale applications using PostgreSQL. Ensure performance,
security, and availability of databases.
·
Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases. Integrate
data storage solutions including databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
·
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX
designs. Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
Skills and
Qualifications:
·
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
·
5+ years of PHP development experience.
·
Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks
(specifically CodeIgniter) and PostgreSQL. Understanding of MVC design
patterns.
·
Proficient understanding of code versioning
tools such as Git. Experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3,
JavaScript, jQuery, etc.) is a plus.
·
Experience with Bootstrap Framework Experience
knowledge in cron jobs, cpanel handling, payment gateway and etc.
·
Experience in common third-party APIs (Google,
Facebook, etc.). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently and
as part of a team.
·
Excellent communication and collaboration
skills.
