In this role, you will:
Develop robust and consistent reporting and monitoring capability to track Collections and Recovery performance within Home Lending
Provide analytics to help improve Collections efficiency and effectiveness and make recommendations to senior management
Conduct deep dive analyses to proactively diagnose Collections operational trends and provide recommendations to leadership to enhance performance
Monitor key Collections, Recovery and Loss Mitigation metrics, recognize patterns, analyze trends and implement root cause analysis
Perform analysis to support the decision-making process with a quantitative approach
Work collaboratively and effectively with business partners and strategy experts to help shape strategies
Present results and recommendations to senior management
Establish mechanisms to measure, manage and mitigate credit risks for the HL portfolio
Develop dynamic dashboards; analyze key risk parameters to help understand changes in business
Set up monitoring framework to track, monitor and mitigate any potential and identified credit and operational risks
Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives, and delivering insight and decision strategies within analytics and reporting, and contribute to large-scale planning related to Risk Analytics
Collaborate and consult with peers, experienced managers, compliance, and technology to resolve modeling, forecasting, and production issues, and achieve analytic and reporting goals
Required Qualifications, US:
4 years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Required Qualifications, International:
Over all experience around 5-7 years in similar role
Bachelors degree or higher in a quantitative fields such as applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, finance, economics, econometrics or computer sciences
5 years of experience in credit risk analytics
5 years of advanced programming experience in SAS, strong technical skills and problem solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Must have excellent communication skills, high degree of initiative, strong partnering and interpersonal skills, as well as critical analytical thinking
Must possess a results driven attitude committed to quality work.
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Flexibility with changing priorities
Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
Desired Qualifications:
Experience within the US Home Lending environment
Understanding of full credit cycle with background in default
Ability to determine accuracy and relevancy of information to effectively generate and evaluate conclusions and/or recommend alternatives
Proficiency with SAS macros and experience in leveraging macros to make processes more efficient
Detail oriented, results driven, and has the ability to navigate in a quickly changing and high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
Ability to identify and manage complex issues and negotiate solutions within a geographically dispersed organization
Ability to research and report on a variety of issues using problem solving skills
Knowledge of SQL & data visualization tools such as Tableau
