Eligibility

An Assistant Professor, must have a good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master Degree level in Social Work from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. The candidate should have relevant field experience of minimum five years in HR activities. Candidates with Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines, will get preference.

Job Profile

For Assistant Professor, the key area of work is teaching at post graduate level , implement innovative pedagogy and enhance classroom teaching-learning experience for the participants. Assistant Professor is expected to develop contemporary teaching material, manage tutorials, link industry practice to class room activities.

Assistant Professor is also expected to guide final year semester dissertation projects; should publish a minimum of two research papers every year in journals of national and international repute.

Assistant Professor is expected to take up collaborative Program with leading organizations/speakers/subject matter experts by exchange of know-how’s and conduct lectures/webinars/seminars/industry-academia projects/exposure visits etc. Participate in grant writing, conferences and research and development activities and also expected to support in administrative works of the department.
