about the role

Your will provide design, engineering, configuration, administration, maintenance and support of IT infrastructure deployed in the customer environment. You will be required to handle multiple assignments concurrently, leveraging experience skills in handling complex environments and coordinating task among teams. You will be required to work in 24x7 shift rotation to ensure service availability to our customers.
Job Responsibilities:

• Manage IT infrastructure deployed in the customer environment which includes OS, Hypervisor and core infrastrcutre services like DNS/DHCP/NTP etc.
• Manage operational maintenance, security, and availability of IT infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related
• Perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) as part of problem management
• Assist in analyzing historical usage for tracking and trending by CPU, memory, I/O and storage
• Identify performance bottleneck and suggest for the improvements
• Implement capacity improvement plan
• Develop and maintain the Technical Disaster Recovery Plan. Provide technical support during disaster. Execute Technical Disaster Recovery plan during DR and DR drill.
• Resolve OS vulnerabilities identified by IT Security team

about you

Qualifications & Work Experience:

• BE/B.Tech/MCA/ B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science)
• HCI / Linux /Windows certification, AWS/GCP certification, ITIL certification
• Experience on managing large scale environment running on server virtualization
• Extensive experience on AWS/GCP cloud infrastrcutre
• At least 5 years of experience in managing datacenter, virtualization environment
• In-depth knowledge of LDAP, DNS/DHCP/NTP/SFTP, Web server, database server etc.
• Solid understanding of standard client-server, Networking, and Internet concepts
• Proven experience on virtualization and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI)
• Working experience in cloud environment (AWS, GCP)
• Strong scripting knowledge for systems automation (shell/python/Perl etc.)
• Strong knowledge and experience on server rack/blade servers, HCI (Cisco UCS, VxRail, Nutanix etc.)
• Experience working with some or all technologies below:
  • RedHat / SuSE/Windoes server
  • KVM/VMware
  • Puppet / Chef / Ansible
  • Bash/perl/python scripts
  • Core Infrastructure services and functions (LDAP, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, PKI, LDAP, etc.)
  • AWS / GCP

Skill Set:

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of information security standards and compliance
• Knowledge of vulnerability remediation
• Ability to lead troubleshooting for issues both known and unknown across domain
• Proven ability to provide technical recommendations to solve short- and long-term issues
• Proven ability to create technical design documentation using MS Visio
• Strong analytical skills for solving technical issues, isolation of application / network performance / server / storage issues
• Prepare HLD & LLD, process and technical documentation
• Understanding and experience in working within an ITIL framework operational environment.
