The following are the functional roles of the Language Teachers (Hindi/ Tamil) for Academic Session 2022-2023

The following are the Roles and Responsibilities in the classroom

1. List of old/new language student’s grade-wise. Maintain attendance Register as a record of attendance for all students(Hindi/Tamil ) separately

2. Orient kids about the books and expectations.

3. Maintain the attendance register for the name list from day one.

4. Orient the children to the venue of the class.

5. Updated correction to be done with spell check and reviewed on daily basis.

6. Emphasis on reading and speaking in the language chosen.

7. The language room to be arranged properly before leaving soon after each class.

8. Homework to be written on the board and ensure the student diaries are checked.

9. Any message for concerned language in the diary to be replied to suitably discussed with the coordinator.

10. Emphasis on handwriting and pronunciation to be checked strictly.

11. Weekly plan has to be sent to the HOD and coordinator a week ahead.

12. Daily log has to be followed as the same (End of the week).

13. At End of the each unit notebooks have to be sent to the HOD/ Coordinator for countersign.

14. Evidence File to be maintained unit-wise.

15. Anyone reflections of Student, teacher or peer has to be taken unit-wise.

16. The four-stage inquiry cycle-Ask, Explore, Share, Reflect to be updated in all classrooms.

17. SLC – Information to be given to Coordinator about the presentation of the students in Hindi & Tamil.

18. Good SLC practice to be given to all the children with new concepts and ideas.

19. Hindi Diwas to be celebrated.

20. Tamil Day to be celebrated.

21. All national festivals- Participation from children is compulsory(Eg: Speech, Drama, Dance, etc)

22. 1- Minute talk weekly to be done in the class period on any topic.

23. Anecdotal records to be maintained for the PTM and to be spoken about strengths and weaknesses of the student.

General Instructions for Language Teachers:

1. Maintain a good classroom environment and discipline all the time.

2. Groom children for wishing all the teachers (Good Morning, Good Afternoon) while walking in the corridor, dining area wherever they move in the campus.

3. Every day before the start of the class talk about anyone moral value for 1 min. One moral quote/ Shlok to be written on the whiteboard every day. To be done by the Language Teacher.

4. Any problem regarding academics, parents, and children keep the coordinator informed.

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Salary: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
