Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Act as the Engineering & Architectural Lead for Core Platform and drive the detailed Software Architecture & Design.
• Accountable for Design, Development, Performance, and ongoing Stability of the Application, Data, Integration, and Technology Architecture
• Partners with key business, product management, and product development leadership for setting technical strategic direction
• Help shape, execute, and integrate technical architectural principles in the technical & product roadmap to develop Next Generation Features and Applications
• Responsible for creating the most optimal software design that can scale and perform in a SaaS/Cloud environment.
• Uses best in class software design, development & deployment techniques to build high-level architecture software designs that development teams can code to provide assessment of current state architecture and recommendation of future state architecture
• Lead problem solving and resolution of day-to-day design issues
• Collaboratively work as part of a geographically distributed agile scrum team, mentor junior team members, and actively participate in knowledge sharing.
• Building prototypes and/or proof of concepts to better inform estimations, work breakdown and feasibility and to identify technical risks and dependencies.

Requirements:

• Overall 10+ Years of experience with minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience in designing large scale solution architectures
• 2+ years experience in software delivery, including a mixture of product owner, architect, and software developer experience Architected one or more feature areas of a product or platform
• Currently hands on -- this role is at least 70% design and code with the rest spent on mentoring, reviews. Preferably with node.js experience, if not from a Java background (or has worked a lot with open source) willing to shift to our stack
• Strong in CS fundamentals, Data structures and Algorithms
• Hands on NodeJS
• Experience in ReactJS or AngularJS
• Experience in developing Enterprise Applications
• Understanding of Micro-services architecture
• Knowledge in Messaging and Queuing, Dockers & CI/CD using Jenkins
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
