Technical Lead

We are looking for a Technical Lead with Full-Stack experience to build and manage a Development Team of 3-4 engineers. As Technical Lead youll manage a team to develop, improve and maintain our web and mobile platforms. You’ll be working on products including general e-commerce platforms, supply chain systems, inventory forecasting, booking systems and more. Furthermore you’ll be responsible for designing logic flows and working with external vendors to build key products.

The ideal candidate is someone who wants to be hands-on but also manage. You should expect to spend the majority of your time developing and the rest of your time creating product flows, managing your team and directing external vendors.

Must have:

We’re looking for someone with 8+ years of Full-Stack Development experience who is highly proficient in relational databases, JavaScript framework development, server-side frameworks (Laravel, Django, Ruby etc.) and DevOps. The absolute must-have language expertise is in PHP and Laravel as that is what our existing system is built on. Apart from that, you should also have at least 2 years’ experience in e-commerce.

Good to have:

The ideal candidate must also have 2+ years of experience as a team lead with project and/or product management exposure.

Requirements:

• 8+ years development experience with relational databases, web technologies and server-side technologies
• 5+ years’ experience with PHP
• 2+ years’ experience with Laravel
• 5+ years’ experience with Javascript frameworks (jQuery and React preferred)
• 5+ years in a senior role managing and mentoring junior developers
• 2+ years’ of e-commerce experience
• Track record of growing a technical team and vastly improving a product
• DevOps – AWS and CI knowledge
• Experience with asynchronous tasks and messaging preferred
• Knowledgeable in agile methods and project management
