As a technical writer, you will work on creating clear and concise guides for Crayon Data customers, partners, and developers.

Job Overview

You will be responsible for communicating complex information in a comprehensible manner, without relying on jargon. Your role will involve collaborating with fellow writers and internal business partners (such as product managers, UI designers, and software development engineers) to strategize, participate in the content development and quality governance efforts, and develop content for our ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Create technical documents for new features and update existing documents for new features product enhancements.
• Review specs, work with developers and QAs.
• Publish API documents for front end and back-end APIs
• Create solution articles, developer guides like API and Marketplace documents
• Collaborate with engineering teams for feature updates, try the product hands-on.
• Take initiatives to build developer/user communities in social media
• Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
  

Requirements

• Excellent written/verbal communication skills with great attention to detail.
• Experience in creating API documentation. Knowledge of GIT, Frameworks, and the works would be great.
• Ability to write for both business and technical audience.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Review UX of the product and work closely with PMs, UI, QA, Devs, and support teams
• Some prior experience in Finance or Billing domain will be an added advantage
  

Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience in technical writing.
