Job Description

Typical responsibilities for devOps engineers include:
Building /setting/ managing up Cloud Environment on GCP,
Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
Working on ways to automate and improve development , deployment and release processes
Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes
Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
Useful skills for devOps engineers include:
Excellent teamworking and communication skills
Knowledge of programming languages
Strong problem-solving skills
Good attention to detail
Excellent organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
Awareness of devOps and Agile principles.
Technically, possessing knowledge on any/many of the following skillset would be desired:
OS - LLinux / Ubuntu Linux CUI Commands, Shell Scripting, SED/AWKGrep, Regular expressions etc.
Java - Springboot Web Services 2.2.x
Spring Cloud configurations
Spring Security
Tomcat 9.x
MySQL
SVN / Github
Jenkins CI/CD
Docker including Docker Compose
Kubernetes
Ansible scripting
Grafana, Fluentd
