We are looking for experienced Validation engineers to lead the Post-Silicon Validation for Quick Assist Technology based SoCs/products. Intel Quick Assist Technology (Intel QAT) accelerates compute-intensive operations by enhancing security and compression performance in cloud, networking, big data, and storage applications-for data in motion and at rest. The selected candidate will own multiple complex blocks of the product and deliver on all post silicon validation phases of the product by owning test Plans/ test content development/execution and debug. This role needs cross-site collaboration with Design/architecture/pre-si/FW/SW/BIOS teams and other post-si partners to deliver on technical features, leverage BKMs, and debug HW/SW/FW issues. As a validation lead, the selected candidate will own validation methodologies to optimize the post silicon validation of the QAT product lines in areas of Test content development, Execution, Debug and coverage.
Qualifications
In this role , responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Own and deliver test plans / test content/ execution and debug for complex block(s) of the product.
Use and apply emulation and platform level tools and techniques to ensure functionality & performance to spec.
Development of methodologies and capabilities that enable efficiency and effectiveness of test content &execution/debug.
Provide mentoring to other team members on validation BKMs and debug.
Owns enabling customer flows both on Pre silicon/ Emulation/ Silicon platforms with quality .
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering with minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in:
2. Validation Expertise in one or more areas ( Client/Server computing, Chipset, Graphics, Data Security, Compression, Ethernet controllers )
3. Emulation based debug and coverage methodologies
4. Test content development using languages - IA-Core Assembly, C / C++ programming, Python
5. Strong architecture understanding of Intel/ARM chipsets and/or CPUs, SOCs.
6. Hands-on debug on Intel Products, platforms and experience in driving task forces for issue resolution.
7. Expertise with debug tools like Logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, in-target probes ITP and Lauterbach LTB.
