The position implies working regular India business hours, but committing to take part in on-call roster to be on duty for 24/7 on call support for 1 week approximately every 6-8 weeks for every team member depending on the team size. During the on-call duty week it is expected the work continues during regular business hours, but outsides normal working day in case a critical severity incident is raised a pager alert might be triggered. When the pager duty alert is triggered the person on duty must log in system and start working on the incident within 15 minutes after the alert is received. It is expected during the on duty week the person on duty should have 24/7 laptop and connectivity to the network good enough to start working within 15 minutes after the alert. If the call is happened at night, working hours for the next day are likely to be reduced depending on how long it took to triage/resolve the incident. Historical average number of incidents happening per week is approximately one.
